We are made up of a small (12 strong) team who are passionate about crafts and committed to delivering value to customers through a speedy service, quality products and a “can do” ethos. Part of a very old textile group (established 1922), we “understand” fabrics, yarns and textiles and we are still manufacturing some items today, where cost effective to do so. We also source and buy in other craft materials, to offer a comprehensive range for all levels of crafting.
We believe that every child has the right to creative play and every crafter deserves quality craft materials to support their creative freedom. For this reason we have both good ideas for families wanting to entertain their children on a Sunday afternoon or at the other extreme, small craft businesses and bespoke crafters who require specific colour, diameter and length, luxury British made pipe cleaners. We started out supplying the UK educational craft market, and indeed it is still our core business, but we also saw demand from consumers at home, so in February 2016 we launched this very website, to deliver value to individuals wanting to buy craft items, offering them the price advantage of dealing direct with a manufacturer.
We are amazed by our customer’s creativity and whilst we have a “Creative Hour” on Fridays, we still don’t have enough time to make as much as we would like. That’s why we encourage you, our customer, to get in touch with us, share your creations and ideas or simply give us some feedback on a product you have purchased. Our customers are our inspiration and we use that inspiration to develop new products and inspire others. This is why we look at every Tweet, Facebook post, photo or email we receive, we will even upload some creations to our website!
